There were some interesting speakers and topical debates.
I listened to the presentation by Dr Bill Nixon International Director of Health and Safety Laboratory on key features of regulatory approach adopted by the HSE, which overseas governments and organisations were keen to learn from.
The comments made very beung adopted by hse in the UK, in line with the department for business, innovation and development in supporting businesses with growth whilst still ensuring safety was being adhered to.
A variety of safety organisations on display providing advice guidance on what new safety products were available.
Overall an interesting day inclding some network opportunity.
